Cathe, Jackie and Judee, like I said yesterday after I saw the pictures of your Irish Chain Quilts you posted to give Redgo243 and idea of how to quilt hers, I got all inspired and went to my stash and this is what I came up with. 12" block and the alt block. It will keep me busy for a while the quilt will be for a queen size bed. I hope I dont mess it up.

    Alt block, 1-8"square, 4- 3" by 8" strips and 4-3"squares

Great colors! This is a pretty easy quilt--hard to mess it up too much. You'll do fine!

Thank you guy's, now I'm really excited :D . I chose these colors because the thing that I love the most of North Carolina is the fall, when all the trees start changing colors is the most beautiful sight. I just hate raking all the leaves once they start falling : :(

Very nice. I like the contrast of the gold (one of my favorite colors) and the floral. Good luck with the progress, keep us posted.

Awesome colors. YOU CAN DO IT! I've only done one. I messed mine up by cutting the wrong fabric for the color placement and ran short of fabric. The colors were suposed to be the opposite of what I actually did so, the quilt is smaller than I wanted.

Well is ready for quilting, I got the batting but I have not been able to get the backing. Between Gabe school supplies, football uniform and my animals my financial situation is a little tight at the moment so is on hold for now. I have been working a little here and there on my UFOS that are ready for quilting.
