I have quilt cad. It is pretty good, a little hard to learn. But it is very limited and not exciting since it is only a two color. It came with my Little Gracie II quilting table when I bought it.

I have EQ6 and use it a lot. I find blocks in magazines or on the internet, and try to figure out how much fabric needed for a quilt with that block. It's helped me use up some of my stash. And it's FUN! You can see how blocks will look together, try them in different configurations, etc.

I have EQ6 but haven't used it, just installed it. Been rather lazy the past few months with chemo and menopause.

Just activated it the other day and need to remember to get my book out and learn it!

I have EQ6 and like it and have used it. I wish I could use it to its fullest potential. Maybe I will get out the instruction manual again and practice.

I would love to have the EQ6; but I'm afraid I would spend all my time playing with it , instead of making actual quilts.

I started with EQ6 and have upgraded to EQ7 and I love it, I bought my off of EBay new in packages for $150 and the the upgrade was $59, so I really thought the prices were reasonable. I also have purchased the Quiltmaker series software that is EQ compatiable. I hope this helps.
