Great idea for the 2 beds!!
I didnt purchase any this year at all. Not sure why. I guess for me it was all too fast! Rushing to get a top finished in the different rows. I don't think i work well under pressure. Plus it made me have much self doubt when i would see finished projects in the shops before i had even purchased 7 of them!

I think this year's R-b-R season is done now. I do enjoy seeing what everyone has done. I wonder how long this thing will last.

I started one but quickly realized I would have to travel the entire state of Florida to get the blocks I really wanted and that would go together in a quilt I would be happy with. I did finish a couple of the blocks and need to pull them out and bind them into table runners for gifts.

I have collected a couple but I make them as wallhangings, so no prizes there. My favorite year was the Home Sweet Home themed one.

I’m currently working on my 2015 rows. Mine will probably become two different quilts. I love the look of the completed quilts.

There was just a row by row a couple of months ago through the Fat Quarter Shop I think the designer was maybe a woman named Melissa Mortgenson? There will also be one on the Sugaridoo channel on YouTube, it starts November 28th and it's in conjunction with Bernina. They will be giving away 3 of their 570 QE? Anyway if you're interested just go to her channel. What I don't like personally is that it starts on Thanksgiving day, then a row will be posted every 4 weeks for 12 rows. Yes it doesn't end until October 2020!
Don't let me discourage anyone interested.

I collected some patterns and a couple of kits in the water theme year. I made a quilt and won at my local shop in the Home Sweet Home year.

I prefer piecing to appliqué, but to meet the theme, most shops’ patterns are appliqué. Additionally, shops seem to have figured out they made more money by having patterns that required specialty fabrics, notions, embellishments, so that you couldn’t just use your own stash. I didn’t even pick up any Music patterns, and though I did a regional shop hop during Row By Row this year, I only picked up one RbR pattern and that was to make my daughter a wall hanging.

i agree, I’ve found fewer shops participating in recent years.

I have one in progress but am ashamed to say how long it's been since I worked on it. I haven't seen any or even heard anyone talking about one in a very long time. You did a good job on yours. Be proud.

I completed, and won prizes, 2015 and 2017. Each came out a comfortable lap size, and I enjoy them that way.
My 2015 winner included the row from that shop, and I received a beautiful hand-made basket as the bonus.
In 2017 I had to drive 53 miles to a shop without a winner yet, but it was worth it for the 26 lovely batik FQ's.
My main reason for not doing 2018 and 2019 was the change from ROW to multiple shapes. I also was doing my traveling a little earlier this year.
