she is talking about the clear rubber like sheet, you put on the back of your ruler,to keep it from slipping.

or it could be the suction type handles you use in a tub,you attach it to your ruler and it helps you get a better grip on the ruler.

or,LOL! they have clear rubber "dots" you can put on your ruler..

all i know, is don't buy anything,until you ask here..where to get it cheap, if it works.. LOL!!!!

Sure do. I bought a new ruler a few weeks ago that I just hadto have because some of the markings on my old ruler are fading. I am still using the old one,saving the new one. Why? I dont know.
