Smile Does anyone have a cute and fun baby quilt pattern?

Our son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first baby the first of February. This will be our first grandchild! I am very excited and need to get baby quilt ideas to start flowing. Does anyone want to share a cute and fun pattern? I have only begun to look and still have no idea what I'm going to make. They do not know if its a boy or girl. I have seen some really cute material with the Peanuts or Dr. Seuss theme. Can't wait to get started!

Pam Bono has some really adorable baby quilt patterns in her books and on her website. Check them out. I made one once with four teddy bears.

Good Morning!! First off Congrats on becoming a new Grandmom... I have one grandson and he is the light of my life... be prepared to make many quilts for the new one... but here is a link to a easy one and you can use the Dr Seuss, Snoopy or whatever in your quilt and have a simple irish chain around the blocks..

How difficult do you want this to be? I like to make my baby quilts fairly simple (especially when I have cute fabric so it can be what shines) so I like Yellow Brick Road or Streak of Sunshine (from Quiltville). I know alot of the people here on the board like Warm Wishes (which is a freebie at one of the magazines' sites).

That's an adorable quilt! I may use that pattern for a Christmas table topper as I have some cute embroidered snowmen blocks that would be cute in there. Another cute idea would be to do aa large-ish snowball block with your focus fabric.

I love shadow box; simple and highlights a cool fabric or fabrics...

I also like to do themed gifts so if u buy the dr. Seuss fabric, a few books with it would look great!
