Fabric.com is advertising that March is National Quilting Month. A quick google search turned up that March 20 is National quilting day (http://nqaquilts.org/nqday/ )

I didn't realize that a month had been set aside for this. I think that I will join in by working on that baby quilt & see how far I can get this week & on 3/20.

Anyone else plan on joining in on March 20?

Oh my goodness! Honey, don't you know that March 20th is the day that Quilty Qlaus leaves gifts for quilters? Hurry, make your wish list out and give it to your significant other so that he/she can make sure QQ leaves the things you want. He's easily recognized by the patchwork jacket and the string pieced trousers.

P.S. I keep reminding my DH about March 20th and he says, "Yeah, right." Maybe I shouldn't expect anything. Or maybe there'll be a gift of two that someone that really likes me (...me) wraps up. Ha ha ha

Did you all know that March 14 was National Pii/Pie day? Get it? 3.14? Okay, my nerdy husband pointed that out. He got a pie, I'm hoping for fabric ;-)

If he got a pie for that then you should get a lot of fabric on the 20th.

I think getting fabric that day is a wonderful idea.

My DD pointed that out to me. It took me a minute to get it. So funny.

Our Guild is having a quilt day, and we have young children coming. One of our members is going to teach the children how to make a quilt--easy.
I am going to work on a community quilt.
