I believe I now have an offical stash. WM is closing the fabric department. I filled 4 bins.[could have used another bin}. Does that count for having stash? One month ago I would never have brought the colors that I did. But after watching this site for 2 months I can't believe how I view colors now. No more dull colors. Will need help with some BRIGHT colors I brought. Will post when I can get a picture.
Today I turned 64. Can't wait until next year when I retire to devote time to quilting. Will continue to buy fabric for next year.
Love the quilting board. I am learning so much.

Very Happy Birthday!!!

4 bins? Yeah, that's a stash. Congratulations! LOL.

I hope you're not waiting until next year to start - you can work and quilt (I do both, and take care of the house and DH and and and...). Have fun and enjoy your stash!

LOL, yep counts as a stash. You're officially a quilter now. Just don't forget to amass some more and make sure that it's to the point where you have no room for it LOL. You're not "certified" until your stash is large enough for all of us to sign off on your release for the next season of Hoarders etc. ;) Girls gotta love a good sale! ;) :-D

Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!

Woman after my own heart! I just retired at 62 so I could have some time to work through all the material I've purchased over the years and didn't have time to work on. As far as I'm concerned, you have a stash the instant you acquire some material that you don't have immediate plans for. For the record, most of my quilts are very bright colors. When you have to look at something for a long time to complete it, make it colors you like to see - happy colors!
