This binding, even though pretty and bright will not wear or wash well. It will also lose its body with the first wash. I would make a more durable choice-especially for a child.

I think it looks fine for a girl.

Doesn’t really enhance the top. Maybe teal or even white

I guess I’m confused: is this for a woman or a little girl? If it’s for a little girl, then, yes I think she will like it. For a woman, No.

I love the satin! I also like the idea of the pink flannel on the back. I recently saw a picture of a little girl's bedroom that was painted pink - the walls, doors, woodwork, and ceiling; had pink rug and pink curtains and, of course, pink quilt on the bed. All the furniture and accessories were, you guessed it, pink. The mother said her daughter said it was like living inside a pink bubble. Mom said she would be glad when her daughter would be ready to repaint but was happy with it because her daughter loved it. So go with the pink ruffle and let her have fun!

thanks everyone... this will be a little girl. The granddaughter of someone that I work with. I agree a different color would be better.. but I'm not going to spend any money
