Amen to that. I once a long, long time ago made a dress shirt for my husband, complete with tab collar, etc. He criticized the top stitching on the front placket.....I told him from that day on he could buy all his shirts and I would never sew anything for him again. I would sew for the kids and people who appreciated my efforts.

He never took any notice of my quilts until we were at a cookout with my quilting friends and their husbands, and they were raving over the Memory Quilt I was making for the mother of an OK bombing victim. He sure change his tone when my quilt got featured on the front page of the newspaper a few months later. He even volunteered to make me colored copies of the newspaper article to keep.
