Well I have been reading all about the Featherweights from all of you. Went to a small town that had a thrift shop. Way in the corner where they put a box of craft things and scrap material I saw, under a table, a hard box that looked like a very old suitcase. Down on my hands and knees to pull it out and opened it to find that it contained a very old sewing machine. It is called a Domestic Rotary from the Domestic Sewing Machine Company Cleveland Ohio. Patented Oct 25, 1927. I asked how much and they said, as is $50.00. I told them there was no handle on the container and hard to carry would they take $30.00? They did! I brought it home and it sure is old but cute. Plugged it in figured how the strange foot pedal worked and son of a gun it worked like a charm! Still haven't treaded it and it did come with an attachment that looks alot like a walking foot. The bobbin holder is sideways under the walking feet that I can get to when I open a plate on the table of the machine. Anyone heard of this machine or better yet have one? Did I get ripped off spending $30.00? Just being cute doesn't cut it.

Wow that looks like a nice machine. Doesn't look beat up at all and it looks real sturdy. To me it sounds like you got a great deal. Billy will know for sure.
