I have made a DWR quilt and used Shar Jorgenson templates. I enjoyed doing the DWR this way. I cut out all of my pieces and put them in a pizza box and when I had time I would go in and make a couple of blocks. The templates are plastic and easy to use. This method does take some time but so rewarding and I got the right size of pieces all the time. Good luck on your quest.

I've not made one, but if I was in a hurry, I'd look into this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-H6GAsqNus

I use the Sharlene Georgenson Templates. I have had them for more than 20 years and have made 5 DWR quilts, 2 kings and 3 queens. The templates were great and the book that came with the templates shows a number of different ways to do the DWR. Have fun with this beautiful and challenging quilt you will love the end results.

I use the Creative Grids. Have made 6 double wedding ring quilts and one in progress, but wedding was cancelled. Love them. I took the arc template and made a paper template of the sections, printed it on computer paper and paper piece the arcs. Love doing it this way. Probably a bit wasteful, but works good for me.

thanks for that suggestion. i've been bothered by those that are not 'round'. I have some grandkids that a coming to the age that they may get married, so put these templates in my calendar for next year... i'm too busy with other quilts to order them now

I made a Rings that Bind one. It does take a lot of fabric but so worth it. It won viewer's choice at a large local quilt show. I used bright printed fabric (found out later it was Kaffe Fassett fabric line) had no idea what I was doing as it was the second quilt I ever made. I followed the directions and it worked perfectly. LOL
