with that color dragonfly, i actually prefer the cream. you're doing a great job with that pattern. i'd never seen it before

Are all the dragonflies the same color? If so, I vote for black - makes them pop.

If the dragonflies are going to be different colors, I'd go with black for the lighter flies and the cream for darker flies.

Love, love, love the blocks. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
