Default Dream Big Panel (Hoffman)

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has done a Dream Big Panel using a Pattern from Stitch Delight? or actually any other patterns that you cut out to stitch the leaves. There are very few videos on this and most are for FMQ. Thanks!

Do you mean the designs for the embroidery machine or something else?

Some of the ladies at the LQS used machine EMB to quilt this panel. You could trace the shape on paper and add your own stitch pattern to quilt. You may be able to copy the leaves on a copier to use for quilting designs.

What I meant was there are certain companies selling the stitch patterns to embroider this panel. Some are $95 and I found one at Stitch Delight for $50 that looks good. I was just wondering if anyone here has used that and if they liked it. The video they use is a bit confusing to me. Thanks

Yes, I believe that is the vendor that they used. You need to print out the templates (approx 52). You will hoop for each template and design. The templates have cross hair reference that you use to line up the quilt in the hoop. Using that method for hooping, the petals will be at different angles.

Have you hooped using templates or grids for positioning so the design stitch in the right spot? A magnetic hoop would make it easier to adjust position. Have you quilted in the hoop before?
