Dresden Plate Question
Ladies please refresh my memory....
While cleaning out the sewing room closet today I came across 13 Dresden Plate blocks made from what I believe was an American Jane Jelly Roll. Why 13 I have no idea, but I have enough strips left to sash the blocks and will border with something else. My question is, do I remember that I'm suppose to cut away the underneath side of each plate base? If so, do you cut close to the points or start to cut where the point fold start? All help is appreciated!

I just leave the fabric under the Dresden, have done several both ways, trimming the back out starting under the fold of the points and leaving the backs on and have found no big difference. If you are not sure, trim one of your blocks and see if it's what you would like to do. Brenda
