Default Small Christmas Projects Suggestions

I'm looking for a Christmas project that can be done at my Quilt Guild. We usually just do a pot-luck dinner and a small craft or game. I'm in charge this year, and looking for something cute that we can make - that can be done in less than an hour, and be easy to put kits together for this. Do you have any suggestions? Something that might have worked well for your guild? Thanks !!!

QuiltnNan had a recent publication for Angel Ornaments that are absolutely adorable. I think it would be totally fun and I plan to try some myself. Go to: Angel ornaments

The fabric pinecone ornaments would be fun, and easy. You'd be able to have "kits" already put together/cut for when you meet. Meets all skill levels, too!

Just what I was thinking ..... a great scrap user-upper if you were making kits.
Would let your members make something nice, without getting too serious in what they are doing.

Will they be bringing their sewing machine & supplies? If yes, I think the fabric boxes are fun and can be done in holiday colors if desired.

Not all the people in my guild celebrate Christmas so I would go for fabric boxes. http://aspoonfulofsugardesigns.com/2...e-fabric-tray/

we did a "competition" between tables at our Christmas potluck once that was a big hit--we were all told to bring our trims, button, etc along with glue and needle and thread. Each table was given a yard of fabric and we had to design and make a holiday decoration for the local assisted care facilities. It was really fun and creative and the plus side is the assisted living facilities got fun decorations.

Our group doesn't take machines to the Holiday Party, but we have made needle books and pincushions out of tea cups. (Everyone was asked to bring a teacup and saucer.)

I love these Christmas tree decorations. They are easy to make and you can use scraps. No sewing needed. Link here: https://www.firefliesandmudpies.com/...ree-ornaments/
