does anyone know where I can get a dutch doll pattern?
our auxiliary wants to make one .

every one i search and find is just a SunBonnet Sue so far.

Here is a place to try if you mean Dutch as from Holland
Free Dutch Doll Pattern, or if you mean Pennsylvania Dutch(Amish) just Google Pa.Amish dolls...hope this helps...

Isn't that the same? I grew up hearing and seeing Grandma making the Little Dutch Girl pattern that sure looks like Sunbonnet Sue. Maybe the Dutch Girl has a different headgear, instead of a bonnet she has a typically Dutch head dress.
A quick look on the Internet brought up some interesting things. For instance, at some time in the recent past the Dutch cap was made from 2 pieces, not the one our bonnets are made from.
This I found interesting, it was from the 1920s, and one of the other films was of some French fashion models, one with what was described in glowing terms, but looked like an upside down black ice cream cone with black netting flying from it!!
