I just received many yards from four different sellers. Two pieces I was not happy with. One, from the photo, looked just like the fabric I was searching for. I was so excited I bought three yards. But the colors were much more harsh than the piece I have, plus the quality was low low low. Bummer. The other, from a different seller, a hand dyed, looked to be brown and blue in the photo, but it's really brown and purple. Yuck.

The other trouble I had, completely MY fault, was one fabric looked great for what I wanted it for, but somehow I bought it twice--from two different sellers. It was called something different at each place. It's not a piece I want that much of.

I always use "Buy it Now."

So, I'll stick to the quilt shops and my favorite on-line store for awhile.

Unless they sell with "Buy It Now", I'd rather shop on Etsy for good quilting fabrics. All that bidding and waiting drives me nuts, and then someone always outbids you in the end. I've never done well with auctions.

I got DENIM when I thought I was getting quilting cotton--and got squares that were NOT square and different sizes, so beware!
and bought 100% cotton poundage that was blend--made charity quilts out of the goofs, but frustrating.

just as anything on ebay you have to check out the seller, I never buy from anyone with low feedback, I'm saving the names of the sellers mentioned here.

I just bought a log cabin batik kit and they are gorgeous! I have always had good luck with ebay...just pay with pay pal and they protect you! I have also sold a few things on there and also do well.
