I too have EQ7.. I upgraded from EQ6.. I love the program. It is fun fun fun to work with..
I must say I have not gotten to go through the lessons, too many other things on my plate. Which is my concern about taking a class with Quilt U...
I would love for those of us that have the program to have someone who would head up a forum.. It would be great wouldn't it!!

I would be willing to lead it. I'm not sure how to get approved as a leader, but I can find out. I began with EQ5, and now have 7. It is a part of my daily life-couldn't live without it! I can provide some easy lessons for beginners, if someone would like them. What else would we like to do?

I'll vote you as pack leader goldendog55. I'd love to follow along and ask questions of other users and have someone to go to ask as things arise. I did do the lessons on Penny Halgren's site--they were excellent but if I don't work with something frequently I "forget". Thanks for taking up this challenge and look forward to this. I think if you PM Admin or a moderator we can make this into a Virtual segment so everything is in one place.

I would love a forum on EQ7, too. I played with it for a while and then got involved in other things and never got back to it. I am feeling overwhelmed right now, but I would love the support in starting to use it.

If you haven't already owned an earlier version, and it's on sale, I don't think you would be disappointed. The instructional materials are very nicely done. I think the EQ people are quite aware that not everyone is computer savvy, so they explain things well.
