Default Elmer's new and improved

I always get nervous when a company changes something that I've used with success. When researching both the gallon jug and individual bottles of Elmer's, I noticed that the label no longer says that it is washable and the descriptions provided on their site and the selling sites also do not say washable. So I contacted Elmer's by email and this is their reply:
"Elmer's Glue-All is water soluble, even after it has dried. It is still a washable product.
Sincerely,
Brian Rumschlag
Consumer Response Analyst"
I wanted to post this in case anyone else gets nervous over this.

I will try to research this later in the day, but I thought that Elmer's Glue-All was a different product from Elmer's Washable School Glue (the one I always associate with glue basting).

Edit: Okay, I couldn't wait. Here is a link to a gallon of the school glue on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Elmers-Washabl...dp/B001SH7UVQ/
And here is a link to a gallon of the glue-all on Amazon:

It is the School Glue that we are usually talking about on the QB. The Glue-All may have a different consistency and different properties.

Edit 2: I have wondered in the past if this is the same product in different marketing bottles. I always assumed there was some difference between them. Never compared the two directly, though. Has anyone else?

I'm glad he said "water-soluble", because "washable" means different things to different people.

Thanks for the heads up, that would have concerned me too.
