Glue sticks are good. Don't use Office Depots sticks as they are blue & while is a good product, does not dry clear. Made a mess on school poster one time.

I am tying my second glue basted quilt. I have no problem putting the needle through. I machine quilted the first one I glue basted. Nice and easy. I will never pin baste again except maybe on the crazy quilt I am planning.

I figure if I can crash my needle into a foot and the machine is fine, I don't see how glue could harm anything. (And I have busted at least 2 needles on this machine by doing just that; forgetting I have a single-hole foot on and switching to zig-zag. BANG, BUZZ, BEEP BEEP BEEP!!! Oops!
