I went to an AQS quilt show in Daytona Beach this spring and I was amazed at all of the embellishments on the art quilts and wall hangings. I think yours should be fine. Hope you win a ribbon.

It will be at The Western Fair, in September.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. It looks good from a distance, but there are some booboos in there, to be sure!

It's just fun to enter.

Good Luck Watson!!!
What a great fair!!
... I worked there a few years, and always enjoyed the atmosphere and organization of it. I sometimes go back, but right now, I doubt I will be there this year.

Don't forget about all the other fairs around and be sure to enter your quilt in them too!

Just to follow up...I got a Third place ribbon!
Strangely, there were a number of other wall hangings in the same category, (Wall-hanging done on DSM), but no first or second place ribbons were handed out? In fact, in some sections none of the entries had ribbons. I can only assume that the quilts were marked by the judge and you had to get a certain mark to receive a certain ribbon and mine only got enough marks for a third? Does that happen? (There were cash prizes involved, if that makes a difference.)

Anyhow, it looked nice hanging up there and I was happy with it.

And, I was happy that I put the crystal eye on him.
