    Default To Embird users help

Hi, I recently purchased the embird program with studio digitizing tool, iconizer and studio-sfumato stitch. I wanted to insert text into a design, but when I try to do that, there is no fonts to be found. Do I have also start purchasing alphabets or fonts from embird?

I don't have the digitizing studio(only embird and font engine) but i believe you do have to purchase fonts or font engine. If you buy font engine you can use any true type alphabet with it

Can't help you with that but my Singer Futura works best with another program...the Sew What Pro system. After you set up what you want to do, you save it and re-open it in the Futura settings. Maybe that's what's going on with yours? I'd email the company and ask for help.

You should check out yahoo groups. You can find groups that are just for Embird users. Your questions would be answered by people that know.

One work of advice for yahoo groups CHOOSE DIGEST. otherwise you will get every email message separate, digest will give you one email a day.

To be able to insert text into an embroidery with Embird, you do need FONT ENGINE. You don't have to purchase any of the fonts as you can use the fonts already in your operating system.

If you do not have the FONT ENGINE you must purchase fonts from EMBIRD.
