Getting a machine for Christmas..BUT....Still very very confused on what to get. I know I don't want a hoop any smaller then a 5x7 and I would like a USB capability....Do you really need to have a store that has classes to learn how to use the machine? We only have a few stores in town and I really don't like them and have heard that their service isn't any good. I would have to drive at the least 45 mins to a store that I've heard good things about. But is it really necessary? I think I'm leaning towards a Janome.

I would go with a Janome and make sure they have good service and classes. My dealer is 1 hr an 45 minutes away but worth every trip. G0 with someone you can depend on. My three Janome machines have never given me a bit of trouble and two of them emb. One has the USb port for the computor. Good luck

I have a Bernina. There are several different ones. I love it.
