    I have a BMP9 embroidery machine 6 needle.
I down load designs and transfer them to my machine from my computer.

Looks like you have a single needle machine.
If I understand it correctly and from what I found you need a USB cable.
That will hook up from the computer to your machine.

there should probably be prompts for you to follow on both machine and laptop after connecting.

I order my designs on line and download then.
I have to get my designs in a PES format.
I don't know for sure but being a brother machine, yours may also be PES format.
I don't know if I can help you more than that.

Read through your owners manual or call the company you bought from if you need more help.

Jodie have you tried calling a machine repair shop?
If they service your machine you can help you.
    Also call the Brother company.
They should be able to tell you also.

Not sure, but I believe that machine uses design cards. If you want to download designs from the internet, you have to have a blank design card and some type of transfer device like Magic Box, PE-Design, Palette and Wizard Box. I could be wrong, but from what I can find it seems to be the case.

Is yours a Disney?Mine is a 750D and can only use the memory cards and whats in the machine. If so you need a little box with a blank memory card. You downloads the designs into a file in your computer, then somehow transfer the design onto the empty card that will go into your machine.Connie in CO...Plus our machines does not have a place for a USB cord.

Well Jodie, If those ladies have your type of machine then I would go with what they are telling you.

    I really don't know.
I just looked that up your machine on a web site and that was in the description about the USB cord.
My machine is a brother but it's nothing like your 750D.

    Mine is a 6 needle and a BMP9.

I'm sorry if I gave wrong information.
I checked again and this is the site I looked at.

    http://www.brother-usa.com/homesewin...ODUCTID=PE750D

It does say memory card and it also says USB.
    I apologized again.

What I think you need is to get PE design which gives you the equipment to download from the computer to your machine.

I think that you will find the older ones don't have the USB and the newer versions do.
