Like Callie I have the Janome MC350e and as she said it only does embroidery. It has a usb slot and a design card slot. I simply love mine. Got it at Kens Sewing Center, they were great and their service when you purchase things is also great.

I have the PE770. It has card slot and USB. Love it and not way out of line in price. The PE780 is a newer model.

I just bought a used Bernina 730...with the embroidery unit, bags/totes for everything, Bernina table with the back that flips up, over 100 CDs & flash drives (patterns), every foot that fits a Bernina (I swear I have no clue what most of them are for!) and a box of thread and the acrylic table extender to make a flat bed when I take the machine somewhere. It is 5 years old, and yes, I got the deal of the century at $500. I spent less than $100 to have a Bernina tech check it out and make sure it was working fine.

The deals are out there...just need to look for them. The lady I bought it from started out asking $3,000 (she probably has 7-10K in everything). Hope you find a great deal like I did!

I went to the site but do not find any on sale. Is there a special area I need to get to for the sale on the machines that were on layaway?

I have the same Brother. Seems its the bottom of the line but it does do cute work. Don't need the Disney any more cause my GK are now too big. I'd like 1 with the USB port too. Spend $ on aReader to transfer to card or buy another for $. Decisions, decisions!! Of course, our dream, would be 1 of the biggg $ ones. Right?
