Default From Don-isewman--??? for anyone

I have a mechanic friend, who wife does bakeing projects for her self, on the side. He was asking me about doing something in a lap quilt for his wife. With a bakery/bakeing ideal. Anyone know of a bakery design, or something to do with bakeing. I'm not sure when, and if he will decide, what he wants to do. If anyone, gives me some kind of ideal.I'll get with him, and go from there. Thanks to everyone, who gets back with me. Take care Don-isewman

Maybe use bakery fabrics

Or a cupcake applique block.

There are some really cute cup cake patterns out there. I've seen them done using iron-on interfacing with blanket stitch.

Cute from Timeless Treasures - https://www.etsy.com/listing/1231125...?ref=related-0

You could let this be the focus fabric...

I noticed recently some really cute baking / kitchen fabrics at JoAnn....and i know that just recently i saw the cutest cupcake quilt here on the Board....and a while back some cute pot holders made with fruit fabrics and ric-rac to look like pies...that could be incorporated into a quilt pattern. Good luck !!

There's a whole line of Loralie bakery fabrics, including panels, that are really cute. Here are some - http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_saca...+bakery&_rdc=1

You might consider some projects from the KITCHEN STITCHES book. There are some nice wrap around oven mitts and other kitchen projects.
