Default Stitch in the ditch on 4 patch

Wondering if there is a way you can stitch in the ditch around a 4 patch without going back over previous stitching ? Like one continuous line ? Thanks for help.

I may not be understanding your question, but I just start on one side at the edge and sew to the other side, then turn and go the other way. That gets all sides done. Yes, you cross over the stitching, but don't repeat over the lines of stitching. Or did I completely miss the mark on your question???????

The only way to go around the 4 patch and stitch across the centers both ways, leaves the outside of one L shape of the 4 patch un-stitched or re- stitched? Maybe someone else will know how.

Perhaps show a pic of the whole quilt top ... on their own continuous line quilting may not be do-able for the 4P. However, when done as part of the whole quilt ... there may be possibilities!!!
