She won at the IQF in Houston a few years ago with "On the wings of a dream". It really was amazing.

Well no wonder they're so expensive...hand dyed, hand painted, machine pieced, appliqued, quilted, and not to mention the work looks fantastic. And it looks like some of her work is even in muesuems. Wow.

I really like this one: http://www.bryerpatch.com/images/qui..._wild_side.htm

Expensive is RIGHT! Beautiful, beautiful and what detail and made for shows. I prefer to give mine away to those I love and $64,000.00 can't buy that!

This is just my cup of tea when I think of quilts. I guess I am just too old-fashioned. Give me a basic nine-patch any day.

Her work is wonderful, thank you so much for sharing. I LOVE this one http://www.bryerpatch.com/images/qui...udy30_118k.jpg

To my mind, it is these wonderful quilt artists who will keep this craft alive and especially interest the younger generation in quilting. There is nothing wrong with tradition but it is so exciting to me that quilting can be an art form in it's own right. And pieces like this are worth every penny in the same way that an oil painting or a piece of sculpture by a fine artist is. :-D

Her work reminds me of Gail Garber's quilts. Only hers are much more 'artsy' than Gail's. www.gailgarber.com
