When you buy fab on line such as layer cakes, turn overs, jelly rolls, do you buy what ever they have precut in that line that you can afford? I see lots of stuff on Missouri Quilt Co web site and not sure if I should but lots of precut shapes from a manufactor line for quilts or just get one cut from what ever I like and hope it works with my stash, or JAs.

I personally prefer to buy the yardage versus precuts.

I buy pre-cuts from Ebay quite often. And a couple members of the board also sell pre-cuts. I have bought from charmpacksplus. She is awesome to buy from.

i don't buy alot of precuts either - very rarely do i like an entire fabric line that i would want a square of every design.

i have purchase 3 precut charm packs and have yet to use them in a project.

I've bought both precut and single fabric cuts online. Depends on what the project I want to use it in. I have never (knocking on wood) had a problem with any order of fabric from a wide range of online fabric sites. I have always found the fabric to be top quality, and the service at every one I've shopped has been the excellent!

I usually by yardage, also. As fabric_fancy said, I don't usually care for the whole line of something, just certain colors or designs.
