Love the colors and would love to see a picture of the finished quilt.

do you know who makes the chicken wire batik ?
I bought the same purple chicken wire batik and the lighter lilac batik to do a Hawaiian applique quilt. I bought them both online from Pacific Rim.

My mother just made this quilt in July for my SIL, it worked out beautifully, and following the pattern it was so easy to put together! The biggest WOW was using contrasting colors that really made it pop. We only used 3 colors-light and dark values for each part of the frame were the same (colors 1 & 3 were dark green and 2 &4 were pale orange batik) with a cream background. We really loved the result-would do it again!

Nice colors maybe one more light would work. Just a thought!

I have that pattern, can't wait to start on it...PLEASE post your thoughts on the pattern ie is it easy, difficult...lol...I have to finish my son's wedding quilt before I start this one...can't wait to see your progress... I wanted to add that I saw a completed quilt in LQS on one of my shop hops and it was just beautiful...

I think your choices are stunning. I can't wait to see the picture of the quilt when you're done.
