There once was a fabric glue called FabTac. I think it is still around.

Fabric Tac is what I use if I want a permanent bond. I get it with a. coupon at Joanns.

This is what I use ... either liquid in a bottle and then I put it in my own bottle to use ... or the glue sticks. They work and are relatively inexpensive.

Liquid Stitch, permanent. I buy mine at WM but its available in a lot of places. Not permanent-elmer's acid free school glue sticks.
