I received a BOM from a lady who was asked to redistribute all the quilting things by the husband of a fellow guildmember who passed away. Well, she sent me this BOM called "Sampler Americana" by Cabin Fever Designs - 1997. I was just working along pressing the freezer paper template I made to the different fabic in each block when I came to a block only to find the background fabric is not there. :( All the smaller pieces were but not the off-white background, the blue top part of the background was there but is cut the wrong size according to the measurements given. Any suggestions for locating fabric that will work? I will try to attach a scan of the fabric, don't know if it will work though.

This looks so familiar - like something I had, possibly from WalMart. I'll try to look in the "Fabric Shop" tomorrow when it's light.

That fabric looks to me like "cracked ice" by Classic Cottons. That line was one of their basics several years ago; I'm not sure if they still make it.

If you can't find it maybe fairy frost would work.

I agree with renee fairy frost would do great. If you have trouble findig it I know the LQS in Dumas has some.

Hobby Lobby has a line of "crackled" fabrics. I don't know what the name of the line is, but they do have a beige.
