my favorite place to post or look for a small piece of fabric is www.missingfabrics.com. I find things there frequently and occasionally I can help someone out.

You can post your request in this thread. Any and all info you have about the fabric will be needed. f you can show a link to the fabric online, it would help.

Even a bad picture is better than just a description, and as much information as you may have -- like any selvedge information or "bought at Joann in the last 5 years" or "bought a quilt shop more than 10 years" or whatever may help.

I've been helping connect people on Missing Fabrics for years and have been amazed how often I respond promptly (because typically I look at the requests once a week) and that I have exactly what they want and that I am even willing to send it to them for free, all I need is an address and I get no response. I don't know if it is because they don't actually check their emails, or maybe they are expecting a business response and worry about this crazed fabric person out there. And if you do get your request filled, let the board moderators know.

Here, we will know through this thread. Our moderators may decide to move the location. It can be troublesome posting pictures here for some of us, there is a lot of help stickied in the help section:
https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-help-center-f27/
Or again, let us know here and we'll see what we can do.

There is a section called "in search of"on this forum - where people can post for sewing/quilting related items they are looking for such as fabrics, patterns, books, rulers, etc.

As others have said, a picture - or a link to a picture - is helpful.

For me, if a picture is not available, a very detailed description, such as

" fabric, medium blue with 1 inch white kittens playing with red yarn" would be helpful.

A description, such as "Moda, 123456" is not.
