Fabric from Nancy's Notions
Has anyone ever ordered novelty fabric from Nancy's Notions? If so, what quality waa it? I have gotten novelty fabric from Joann's before and it was very thin. Was wondering if I should try Nancy's. Thank you

I have purchased many bags of scraps from Nancy's and the quality was always very good. Much better than Joann's, but that is just my opinion. I don't know if it is me getting pickier with my fabric, or if this is really happening, but it seems to me a lot of what I buy at Joann's is getting thinner and thinner.
I would go for it.
ps: it's a fun little shop, too. Love the fact they always give me a free machine needle when I purchase there in person. If you buy from there, let me know if they give you one on online orders too. Is a great reminder to change them with new projects
oh: one more thing: they have a HUGE sale every year. They open up their warehouse and it is for 2-3 days. FABULOUS deals there. I have seen busses pull up

I have ordered several times from Nancy's, and even taken road trips with DH and purchased several yards of fabric at a time from her store and also during their Spring Sewing Weekend (May 4-6 this year) in Beaver Dam, WI. The fabric is the same quality as you will see in quilt shops, and the premier fabrics at JoAnn's. If you aren't satisfied with it, it is 100% returnable. Every order I have received I also am given free machine needles. The staff is fantastic-they aim to please and are some of the friendliest staff you will find in a quilting/sewing store.
P.S. if you plan to go to the Sewing Weekend, get there early and have fun!
