I was wondering if the fabric painting is just acrylic paints with fabric medium painted on muslin? And they can be watered down, too, right? If this is the case I would love to experiment with that. I love quilting because of the colors that you can arrange and rearrange endlessly. And I love the look of watercolors. What a blast to combine the two.

you can use the acrylic paint on fabric if you use it with a textile medium,, for me this still makes the fabric a bit too stiff, so when I paint fabric I use either pebbeo setacolor, artist's paintsticks, (oil) or my stewart Gill paints, (made in Scotland) or the inks I got in Canada, all of these make the fabric feel nice and soft, JMHO my advice, get them and play!!!!!!!!!!! have fun, see what you like, and go for it!!
