Fabric Store in Batesville, Arkansas
#6
Arla,
Several of the ladies from our Project Linus group travel there about 3 times a year. The fabric prices are very reasonable, even downright inexpensive (I'm trying not to use the word cheap), they have everything imaginable. It is a great day trip. You can go down using 65 and make a nice quilt shop hop day out of it, or you can go down 60 east thru West Plain, Thayer, and come into Batesville that way. It is worth the trip, they take checks, cash, debit and credit cards. The staff is so helpful and you will love the $1 table. There is fabric that is flawed, sometimes big, sometimes little and only $1 a yard, you can take all or some. You will find fabrics that the LQS carry and wonder why they mark it up so much.
