Fabric Stores found while cruising?

I too have been to those places and no luck finding fabric stores - Curasao is the only place I found a "fabric store", but no cottons for use in a quilt only real light weight fabrics.
I have been to Alaska cruising several times and hit quilting stores almost everywhere (it was a running joke with DH). There were some fabrics that I could only get up there and most of the stores would ship it home priority mail.
