I have been trying out some different label options and came across a inkjet printing fabric roll. I actually sent this through my printer like printing an envelope and found that it prints whatever image is on the computer. Being an architect from the tech generation, I used Adobe Photoshop and found it very neat. Has anyone else heard of this, or even use it? It seems like a good option for printing out quilting labels.

I have never seen a roll of fabric for printing. I have purchased sheets and used them with great success. A roll would be nice because the sheets are very costly.

Jacquard makes it in 8.5"x120" rolls and it's sold by Dharma and Soft Expressions and probably others. Dharma says it is water resistant but not washable or dry cleanable and Soft Expressions says it is hand washable only.

I bought the roll at my local JoAnn Fabrics. The roll cost about 24.99 regular price, but lucked out and found it for 40 percent off. I can't recall the name of the company that makes it, but, it seems like a good fix for a quilt label. I do think this type actually can be sent through the wash with the quilt itself, as long as it is on cold wash settings.

I printed one photo and my printer has not worked since.
I Used Timeless Treasures. The printer tells me something is stuck in there but I don't see even a thread. Ideas?

Well, I did have some trouble loading this inkjet printing fabric in- it was jamming due to the way I was loading it, and I just bought a new printer!! But, after trying it two other times, it did work, and the printer still survived and prints. Your sensors may be damaged. Have you tried changing the paper weight and size through the printing software? Maybe that will help. Hope it works out.

I will try. I loved the way we were able to photoshop the picture & even get snowflakes to show on white!
