Do you mean CAD - computer assisted drafting - or quilting caddy like they give away at the Fab Shophop?

Do you mean "Quilt-Cad" ? Are you trying to digitize designs for a robotic quilter ? Or are you trying to layout your quilting pattern for a quilt top ? I have never used it but I am familiar with the program. It is supplied with the HQ16 robotic quilter and you can use it for doing these things. It is also available as a stand alone program.

If you are trying to design panto's to use, I would just get some freezer paper and draw them myself. Limit them to 10" to 15" wide depending upon the size of the your machine and how much quilting area you have. Personally, I would just purchase them, they are inexpensive and relatively easy to find on the web. You can try here http://www.quiltfrog.com/ I know she has several in stock because I saw them Friday when I was there.

This woman is pretty much the leader in designs and while most of the designs on her website are for robotic machines there are a few pantos available. Try here http://quiltrecipes.com/index.php If you do a google search for "Quilting Pantograms" several sources will be found.
