I LOVE that store. I have only been there twice as it is a 3-hour drive from me. But I am sure I will manage to get back there soon.

Yes, indeed we had an awesome time! Clara and I were thrilled to met hannicks and go shopping with her! It was a pleasure and delight to share time with a sister quilter.

I haven't been there since I can NOT drive anymore. Haven't found anybody who wants to make the trip. I have been shopping there for over 30 years. I remember when flat folds were $1.39 a yard !! This is the 3rd location as they outgrew the previous stores. I LOVED to dig thru the flat folds. I would always make it an all day excursion. Closed the shop many times. Glad you got to see and experience it !!

I live in Anaheim where M & L is located and I haven't been there for a long time. Looking at your pictures it has really changed....for the better, since I was last there. I forsee a field trip for myself in the near future! I must have missed your post about being in this area. There are several other quaint quilt shops in the area but you hit the granddaddy of them all and probably the best priced fabrics. Glad you had such a wonderful time. Were you here for our heat wave?? Hopefully the weather was beautiful for you.

I had no idea this place existed. We will be driving down to the San Diego area next month, visiting kids, and I will try to visit M&L on the way there or on the way back.
