No, the EQ companion is separate from the Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt book. That book has a CD in the back that contains pdf templates for each of the blocks plus pdf layout diagrams for different sizes of quilts.

The book has assembly diagrams for each of the blocks and you could put this together using only the book.

EQ just makes it easier in several ways - keeping track of the fabrics you've used, how much you need, auditioning fabrics, providing templates, rotary cutting or foundations for printing on paper, etc.

    I'm afraid I've become an EQ junkie. :( ;)
    OK great clarification! Thank you.

I have been a member of the FWSQ on QB here since last August and have found lots of good advice from the group. Yes, I have EQ7, the original book and its CD, and followed Honcky (Anne's) advice on rotary cutting each week. Its a wonderful, knowledgeable & kind group.

Look it up on the QB site.

soo, do we get paper piecing patterns with the FWQ software? i know these questions prob get old, but it just takes forever to find this stuff on the FWQ, cause it's way in the back of this forum, like a 1 1/2 yrs back. FWQ search, did help narrow it down. tho.
