Very interesting. What are you going to use for sashing? Hope your back gets better quickly.

Very interesting choice, I like it, but I wouldn't let my black cat sleep on it.

Hope your back feels better soon.

It is going to be a totally white quilt. I have always wanted a white quilt. I have a black dog who will probably have me using the lint roller on a daily basis, but I don't care. I haven't decided whether to hand or machine quilt yet. I have 17 more blocks finished, but they are in the sewing room upstairs. I am hoping to set up my fw in the living room and work on some more blocks downstairs until my back will let me get back up the stairs. I am doing all the piecing on my fw. I inherited it from my wonderful mother-in-law. She would love what I am doing with her machine.

I love the blocks and it's an interesting idea. The photos have the blocks on a dark background which shows off the different WOW patterns. but I'm wondering if all your beautiful piecing will disappear on white/light batting, and make it look like a whole cloth... Just wondering if you have laid them out on your intended batting.
