I am thinking about ordering a sampler of fat quarters from Connecting Threads. It is $24 for 24 fq's. Are they pretty much unform in size? No wonky cut edges?

I just received my FQ's from Connecting threads. I thought I'd try them out since their prices were so attractive and they had a free shipping offer for anything over $50. I am very happy with the quality.

Connecting Threads have been in business for a very long time. It is one of two fabric stores that I know of, that sends out free catalogs of all their fabric. Handcock's of Paducah is the other one. If their products were not quality they would not be in business. I buy from CT more than any other fabric shop.

I ordered that set, and when I went to cut a 2 1/2" x 18" strip, found it was only 17". So I started checking the others, and found 4 others that were short. These had NOT been prewashed, so shrinkage is not a factor. Decided not to send them back as it was such a good buy to begin with. I also ordered some yardage, but it was correct.

They do have wonderful prices and sales. Nice if you want a little of every color. Especially the charm pack with 24-50 samples. I would guess with their wonderful prices we can expect a little off? No acceptable alw the time but....And their kits are wonderful too.

I probably order more from Connecting Threads than anywhere else, too. In addition to great prices, their staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered a cute kit from them several months ago and couldn't decide how I wanted to quilt it and I couldn't quite make out how it was quilted in the picture. I emailed them and got an answer within an hour describing the quilting in great detail. That got them a permanent customer!

I dont know about their fabric, but I do know that they have great service. I bought a book from them and received way before I expected to get it.
