Is there a folder for fat quarters. you know how they have them for t-shirts do they make one for fat quarters?
mine FQ's are all folded different and it is bugging me so now i want to fold them all the same way but this little guy (if they make it) would be the ticket to make it go faster.

You could use one of your quilting rulers to fold over.

Or have a piece of plexi-glass cut for the size you want.

they sell comic boards that people use to fold their fat qtrs on and store.

I use a ruler to fold small pieces of fabrics, my large pieces also. I mostly have 4-6 yd pieces and some even larger. I never buy fat quarters. I have large wire closet shelves to stack them on.

I recently cut up all of my fat quarters for future projects and will agree that each seemed to be folded differently. I had to iron each one before cutting. I must have done over 600 of the little devils. You may be onto something with a folding board like stores use for t-shirts. Having each fat quarter folded in uniform size would be wonderful.

I use these things they sold years ago for you to put your fabric on regardless of size. They look like they're cardboard and they may be but they are white and have some kind of coating on them. They sell them online at shops like keepsake quilting and Annie's. I have had them for years.

those are comic boards. i think i got mine from Amazon. so far haven't used them.....i have a dresser with four small drawers full of fat qtrs and fat eighths. they are nicely folded small. if i ever get organized, i can use the boards hopefully.

I just cut a piece of cardboard about 5" to 6" square. I fold my fabric around it, then slip it out. Using the same piece of cardboard over & over, all my fat quarters ( and nearly that size) are now uniform , and stored in clear shoebox sized containers.

My favorite LQS had a nice easy uniform way of folding fat quarters. I went into my stash and refolded everything I didn't get from them and did it the same way. Now whenever I get FQ I refold them immediately.
