Beautiful pictures. I cannot relate because I was born in Tucson AZ and have lived in CA for the rest of my life.
I love looking at snow. :)

I lived in Ca. nearly all my life. I think that's why I enjoy the snow so much here in Ky. Every year we would go to the Sierra's for the snow but it's not the same as having it on your door step.

I did weigh in on Friday but I was exactly the same as last week. I felt very lucky as I weighed in the middle of the week and it said that I had gained 2 pounds. Last weekend I went to two parties and had a great time. I even had adult beverages. The drinks ALWAYS put weight on me. I know better but it was just so much fun.
So since I had such a great time on the weekend I decided that I needed to step up my exercise program. On Wed. I thoought I would add running to my walking schedule. A little fast walking and a little running. Well, as I was running accross the street I tripped and fell right on my face! Ouch, there I was in the middle of the street I looked up and there were two cars waiting for me to get up. I got up as fast as I could and told everyone I was fine. As I got to the curb and they pass I said to myself I am not OK. I pulled out my cell phone and called DH and asked him to come get me. I got in the car and saw my face. WOW I had a hugh bump right over my eye in my eyebrow. DH said we are going to the hopsital. Since we were about 50 feet from our Dr.'s office I said we should try there first. They saw me and immediatly took me in.
Good news is I am OK. I have a giant black eye and and the side of my face.
Next week I will only be walking no more running.
Sorry this is so long. So that is my weight loss story for the week.

Well my goodness nana that is quite a story. I hope it doesn't hurt too bad and I'm glad those cars didn't just run you over. Hugs!!

Nana, that's terrible. i have always had a fear of falling when I run so i seldom run. And I know that feeling of jumping up and saying "I'm OK". We hate to have attention focused on us I guess. Thankfully DH took good care of you!

Oh my, forgot I 'signed' up for this. Been sooo busy with school. Semester ends in less than four weeks and trying to keep GPA up there. Anyway, what I lost in Oct. I gained back from sitting doing schoolwork so long. So I made some changes. Fast food only once a week, absolutely no soda pop, drinking 6 - 8 glasses of lemon water (fresh lemons) a day; no snacks, bought some Wasa light rye cracker things to munch on instead, fish three times a week, and the biggest change I made - Stevia powder instead of sugar. I love my sweet tea! I only lost 2 pounds this month, but I notice I have more energy and my pantas are more lose. Now to keep it up through the holidays.
Anyone done the HcG (?) diet? Wonder about that.

Thanks for all the kind comments. Eye still very dark blue but it doesn't hurt any more. I will start my very fast walks again tomorrow but no running. :-)

wvdek, I'm in school too an I know what you mean! 3 more weeks and then finals and then I get three weeks off. Woo!

quilting nana, I'm glad you're doing ok!

cjomomma, where did you used to live in CA? I'm a Los Angeles native. :)

So for the past two days I actually went to the gym. I'm so proud of myself! I did a beginners Zumba class on Saturday and then yesterday I walked for 20 min. on the treadmill. I'm going to go again today. Now if only I can get my eating under control. lol
