Default Fatquartershop

Has anyone besides me noticed that when signing onto fatquartershop.com, you get a security error message warning you that the site is not safe?

Sometimes it's the browser you're using. I've had that happen so I switch to Google when I get that message and it seems to work ok for me.

Look at the URL - is it http or https?

Many (most) browsers these will flag a site if it's not https.

I would clear my cookies/cache and do some routine virus scans and things like that. You might have something tracking you or what often happens is it is a fake bug really, you search on what it is and find a pay site/app to fix it but it really isn't anything -- just a scam. Never ever ever let the place take control of your system, even "just so they can see what you have".

My system is pretty locked down and does give me "you really don't want to go there" warnings and I dropped in and out with barely a ripple.

I haven't noticed but I use BitDefender protector and I also have the VPN running on mine by the same company. I was just on that site this morning with no problems.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will be looking into each one as soon as I get off the Quilting Board, the place I can depend on for help with any quilting problem I have.

I just logged on and didn't have any problems. I get that warning at the office because of the way the firewalls are set up on their network. We use the company we office with's network and they have it set up so that their employees can't shop while they're at work.

Like others I have not had a problem logging into the site. My computer automatically picks up the security "s" for the url. Glad to hear that it is working for you.
