Usually I love it all, except the B word. Right now I love ironing, because my fingers are warm being close to the iron. Never thought I would like ironing.

I love the excitement of a new project, choosing my fabrics/colors and seeing the top come together with each new block! LOL!

I love selecting a project (though it takes me forever to decide which one to do from the gazallion patterns marked "MUST DO"), selecting the fabrics, cutting, piecing, and I LOVE applique! Then, my bubble is burst when reality hits--I now have to BASTE that sucker!! But then, I struggle deciding how to quilt it (by hand), and finally, the total enjoyment of hand-quilting! I even love to do the binding. So, I guess I love EVERYTHNG enough to compensate for the HATRED and DREAD of basting!!

I love choosing the fabrics and putting together the entire top. After that I want the quilting and binding done ASAP so I can move on to my next project.

I love the idea of creating something new! I rarely use any pattern but what I design so every part from beginning to end is what comes out of my head. Sometimes I am afraid my head will explode I have so many ideas.

I am learning to love it all. I used to love the designing part, I usually use a pattern to start and then use my imagination to get the effect I want, and you would never know it started with a pattern. I still like the fabric selection part, don't really care for the cutting out chore(bad shoulder), I love the piecing and watching it grow. And I am learning to love the machine quilting and the binding...because I did it all...from start to finish. So the answer to your question: The satisfaction that I did it all :):):)

Getting the idea!! All of a sudden a thought will pop in the head and off I go. Pulling out bins of fabric, pulling out the different fabrics, playing and fondling the fabric.

The cutting and piecing are OK, but when the top is finished, and sandwiched and if for this quilt time permits, hand quilting ranks right up there for me.
