Well, I have to admit I do go crazy over the old ones. I'm accumulated around 7 and love every single one of them. I love they way they sew and love the detailing of the old days when American craftsmanship was prized by makers.
Lastly they last forever and will stay out of landfills if we buy them :D

I love to take my Featherweight (Fannie) to classes and quilt retreats, but nothing sews like my Singer 301A, which is what I prefer when at home. The sewing machine repair guy that I use insists that all machines need to be taken out and driven regularly, therefore, I must keep myself from buying more beauties when I see them. How can I drive more than one machine at a time?
