In NM they consider themselves the chille/chilli capitol of the world -- sort of the way Maine considers themselves the lobster capitol -- and then import from Canada for the lobster festival -- sorry -- I didn't mean to ruffle anyones feathers

If you are going to start fixing spelling on the board, you will be mighty busy...lol

No feathers ruffled here, it is just funny when you stop and think about it.

No ruffles here. Have you been there at this time of year when they are roasting the chiles? Mmm the aroma is everywhere and makes you so hungry. They have a festival in Hatch and theirs are supposed to be the best, something about the dirt there. I just know they are awesome and now I'm homesick!

Hey this whole topic is about feathers isn't it, so it's about time to ruffle some. But seriously, no one took offense at the spelling comment - we're just easily taken off track for some reason. I had already noticed that although chili is the correct spelling (per the dictionary anyway) most people were putting in 2 l's. As mim pointed out, proper spelling seems to be optional these days.

All this talk made my DH inspired -- he is in the kitchen whipping up his specialty -- CHILI !! and the comment about hot sausage that I saw somewhere, earlier really turned him on

I just think that you all have ADD----easily distracted? can't remember what you want when you walk into a room---do 5 other things and then not get the first chore done that day???? Get stuck on one topic(feathers, chili--hint! hint!).
But we love ya anyway...
