I am cleaning up my Centennial Featherweight. I found when I removed the bottom plate on the machine, I have a white coating on one of the wires. It is flaking off but would like to clean it real good and check the wires. Does anyone know what to clean it off with? Should the wiring be replaced? Any help is appreciated.
